Rosie Garton-Jones
Overseas Tax Adviser
Rosie Garton-Jones is our overseas tax specialist (not really!). She is aged 5 but does come with a wealth of knowledge and experience, ranging from how to search for and extract the choicest ham sandwiches from reputable but unaware picnickers in Battersea Park to the fine technique of taking possession of and bursting competitors footballs, all this whilst confidently utilizing her well honed skills of avoidance and evasion when being pursued. Favourite restaurant in London – ANY! Favourite place in London – The lake, woods and water fountains in Battersea Park.

Where do you live? I have recently moved to Beckenham and am really enjoying the lively range of restaurants and bars on offer. What’s the best thing about your job? I really enjoy getting out and about and not sitting behind a desk for 8 hours a day. Favourite London restaurant? My favourite restaurant in London has to be The Real Greek on Bankside, the sharing dishes are very tasty and remind me of when I worked in Greece. Favourite book? The book that I have been most enthralled in was The Botticelli Secret by Marina Fiorato. Describe your perfect weekend. My perfect weekend would be to get off the tube at Hyde Park Corner and walk to Notting Hill from there, through Hyde Park. I love to have a look around the market stalls, and enjoy a coffee in the afternoon followed by a few bars in Soho.

Where do you live? I currently live in Woolwich, which gives me the opportunity to be really close to the office and I love the fact that I am never stuck in traffic on my way to work. What’s the best thing about your job? The best thing about my job is interacting with new clients every day and finding the right property for them. Being in this industry offers me the chance to be up to date with the newest trends in the urban developments across the UK. Favourite London restaurant? As I am a big fan of Jamie Oliver it would have to be Jamie’s Italian at Westfield. I enjoy going for shopping with my friends and relax in the evening with a delicious meal. Favourite book? My all-time favourite book is One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

Miranda Garton-Jones is 38 and the doting wife of Charlie Garton-Jones. Having studied Theatre in London, she quickly realised that the skills required for acting were easily transferable to a career in convincing people to buy property! Favourite Restaurant in London – St Moritz on Wardour Street ‘as the interior reminds me of ‘Sound of Music’ and I love Swiss food.’ Favourite Place in London – West India Quay across to Greenwich market, ‘I love walking around all the shiny new buildings and having lunch next to the water canals then getting on the DLR to Greenwich to browse for hand made bargains.
